Bethany Stapinski, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Bethany Stapinski is a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor offering in-person and telehealth mental health counseling sessions for children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults. She is also a credentialed Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.
A Pennsylvania native, she moved to Florida after high school where she earned her bachelor's degree in pre-law from the University of Central Florida. Her volunteer work with military families sparked a passion for mental wellness and client advocacy, which guided her to earn a master's degree in social work from the University of New England.
After several years of working with adults in the community mental health setting, Bethany was able to pursue her passion for working with youth by providing mental health and crisis intervention services for a local school district. This experience afforded her the opportunity to work with both the ESE and EBD population through the district's alternative education site, as well as the general student population in the traditional school setting. Her work in the schools allowed her to fine-tune her craft and make lasting impacts with some of Volusia County's most at risk youth.
Through the use of evidence-based practices, and a strengths-based and client-centered approach, Bethany serves as an advocate and support for her clients. Her authentic and approachable style allows her to provide clients with the necessary tools, education, and support to aid them in reaching their identified individual therapeutic goals.
